Clashe is a photographers lookbook

Clashe is a natural tool for photographers who are serious about promoting themselves. Publishing an online look book will introduce you to prospective clients, allow prospective clients to find you through your photos and add a professional touch to your portfolio.

When people look for a professional photographer they are looking for much more than photography.

  • They are looking for someone that will take the time to listen to what you want and ask questions about you and/or your family. A photographer needs this information to create images that tell the story of who you are, or who you would like to be.
  • They are looking for your style. Do you like photojournalistic images? Or is your style more classical, whimsical or romantic? They will want to see if your style will best captures their personality.
  • They are looking for your work samples. They will want to see your coverage of an event from start to finish to experience the level of quality you can provide

Your lookbook tell your story. Carefully crafting your lookbook will help clients understand you and your services while also telling them that you care about what you do and the people you work with.

Here are some tips to building your photography lookbook.

  • Give us your bio. You are a person with a history and story. Here is where your personality, character and talent can really shine.
  • Showcase your best photographs. Look through your photos and select the very best ones. Pick pieces that are representative of your work and style.
  • Group your photos into collections that pertain to the type of client you are looking for. If you are a fashion photographer select images from photo shoots that demonstrate your flare and style. If you are an excellent event photographer, select your photojournalistic photos that capture the experience of being at that concert or party.

Darryl had a problem. He needed to find clothing that was relevant to him, appropriate for where he was going, popular and affordable. He couldn’t find an answer on Google, Wikipedia, Dictionary.com or Flickr. So he started building Clashe.
